Chiusi residents collect over 200 signatures to support local commerce law

More than 200 citizens in Chiusi have signed a popular initiative law aimed at revitalizing local neighborhood commerce and services. Confesercenti Siena organized a signature collection drive at the weekly market, gathering over 100 signatures in a single morning to add to previous collections at the association's headquarters.

Chiusi Mayor Gianluca Sonnini has expressed support for the initiative and announced plans to propose a motion of support to the City Council. The proposed law seeks to promote urban regeneration through the establishment of Special Proximity Economic Zones (ZESpro). These zones would provide local businesses with fiscal incentives, administrative simplifications, and financial support to aid in the startup and management of neighborhood activities.
