Chivilcoy basketball league hosts tight games as local clubs clash

Club Atlético 9 de Julio hosted Club Los Millonarios from Bragado in the second round of the Torneo Clausura organized by the Asociación de Básquetbol Chivilcoy. The youth categories saw very close scores, with Millonarios edging out the hosts in the Infanto (51‑48), Cadete (50‑49) and Juvenile (66‑60) matches.

In the ACHB playoffs quarter‑final, Colón de Chivilcoy defeated Quilmes 90‑60 at home, taking a 1‑0 lead in the best‑of‑three series. Tobías Bonavalle led Colón with 20 points, while Quilmes’ Patricio Moner scored a personal high of 23 points and 11 rebounds despite the loss.
