ChizCheese launches Setouchi Lemon Cake in Taiwan department stores

Japanese dessert brand ChizCheese introduced a new Setouchi Lemon Cake, made with lemons from Hiroshima’s Setouchi region, at its first Taiwanese department‑store counter in Hsinchu’s Big City mall. The cake, shaped like a whole lemon and coated with lemon‑flavored frosting, is offered in two flavors – Lemon Cream and Salted Milk – and sold for NT$65 per slice or NT$330 for a six‑piece box.

To promote the launch, ChizCheese ran a limited‑time activity: customers who purchased a box and checked in on‑site received a complimentary “Lemon Glaze” cake, a flavor not sold elsewhere. The brand will also operate pop‑up stalls at SOGO Taipei (B3) from 5 August to 3 September and at Hanshin Kaohsiung (B1) from 21 August to 27 September, allowing shoppers in the capital and southern city to sample the summer‑style treat.
