ChKS Chełm prepares for new Tauron Liga volleyball season

Podziemia Kredowe ChKS Chełm is preparing for a new season in the Tauron Liga, the top tier of Polish women's volleyball. Following a successful debut season where the team maintained its position in the elite league, the club has undergone several changes.

Due to the absence of a title sponsor, the team will promote the local tourist attraction, Podziemia Kredowe. The roster has been strengthened with significant transfers, including Olympic champion Yacine Louati from Asseco Resovia and the return of Polish international Maciej Muzaj from overseas clubs. The team also welcomes Japanese setter Yuki Imahashi for his first season outside of Japan.

Club president Artur Juszczak expressed ambition for the upcoming season, noting that the team aims for higher rankings, potentially within the top four or eight. Captain Mariusz Marcyniak, who is entering his fifth season leading the team, stated that the squad is healthy, ambitious, and focused on achieving better results than the previous year.
