CHLCF Director identifies governance and financial challenges
Patrick Lambruschini, the new director of the Centre Hospitalier Louis Constant Fleming (CHLCF), has identified three primary challenges facing the public hospital in the French territory.
First, he cited governance instability, noting that frequent changes in leadership since 2023 have hindered decision-making and eroded trust among staff and the population. Second, he highlighted a worsening operating deficit and tight cash flow that has accumulated significant debt, preventing necessary investments in equipment. Third, he pointed to the deteriorating state of the building and technical installations. Despite these issues, Lambruschini described the institution as essential, supported by a resilient professional staff.
