Cho Ray Hospital hits record 10,000 daily patient visits

Cho Ray Hospital has recorded a new daily patient milestone, reaching 10,000 visits for outpatient examinations and treatment on September 7. This figure surpasses the previous record of 9,021 patients set on May 6.

The daily total consisted of 8,819 outpatient examinations and 1,181 inpatient treatments. As a major tertiary hospital serving Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region of Vietnam, the surge has placed significant pressure on the facility's medical systems.

To manage the influx and minimize congestion, the hospital activated its entire operational system, including doctors, nurses, and support staff. Medical personnel have been deployed to reception areas to optimize patient flow and reduce waiting times. The hospital recommends that patients use the ‘BV Cho Ray’ mobile application to schedule appointments in advance to manage wait times and avoid overcrowding.
