Chofu PARCO to host GeGeGe no Kitaro tie-up event

Chofu PARCO in Tokyo will host a special tie-up event titled ‘GeGeGe no PARCO’ from November 18 to November 30, 2026. The event is organized to coincide with ‘GeGeGe Ki,’ an annual commemoration held in Chofu City to honor the achievements of manga artist Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of GeGeGe no Kitaro.

Under the theme ‘Beware of Yokai Appearance,’ the event will feature various interactive activities, including a ‘Yokai Search Rally’ where participants use a map to find hidden characters, and dedicated photo booths for visitors to take pictures with the Kitaro family.

Special offerings include collaboration menus at local restaurants and cafes featuring character-inspired dishes, as well as limited-edition merchandise such as apparel, sweets, and household goods. Three pop-up stores, including ‘Kitaro Shoten,’ will also open during the period to sell exclusive goods.
