Choi Myeong Been reportedly joining ‘Solo Leveling’ live-action cast

Actress Choi Myeong Been is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the live-action adaptation of ‘Solo Leveling’. According to reports from OSEN, she is being considered for the role of Sung Jin Ah, the younger sister of the protagonist, Sung Jin Woo.

While Choi Myeong Been’s agency, O3 Collective, stated that ‘nothing has been confirmed’ regarding the casting, the project is already assembling a significant cast. Byeon Woo Seok has been confirmed as the lead, playing Sung Jin Woo, a hunter who gains extraordinary powers. Other actors, including Han So Hee and Kang You Seok, are reportedly in discussions for major roles.

‘Solo Leveling’ originated as a web novel before gaining global popularity as a webtoon and animated series. The story follows the journey of an E-rank hunter who rises to become a powerful figure capable of protecting humanity from monsters emerging from mysterious ‘Gates’.
