Chon Buri police investigate fatal stabbing of Chinese national

A 20-year-old Chinese man, identified as the son of a local yacht operator, was killed in an apartment in Chon Buri, Thailand, on Saturday.

A 21-year-old woman, a yacht service worker and resident of the apartment, was found at the scene with injuries and blood on her body. A 20-year-old male suspect subsequently surrendered to police. The suspect claimed he discovered the victim in his girlfriend's bathroom after returning from a night shift as a security guard. He alleged that a struggle ensued over a knife, resulting in the victim's death.

Police recovered a folding knife believed to be the murder weapon from a nearby bush. The investigation is ongoing to verify the suspect's claims.
