Chong Chom Customs Office promotes investment in Nakhon Ratchasima

The Chong Chom Customs Office is actively encouraging private sector investment in Nakhon Ratchasima, citing a bright business outlook. For the 2026 fiscal year, the office expects to drive economic circulation exceeding 3.5 billion baht and support approximately 2,000 jobs.

Despite the permanent closure of the border checkpoint, economic activities under the supervision of the Chong Chom Customs Office in Nakhon Ratchasima and Buriram provinces continue to grow. This includes operations involving two international airports, three free zones, and one bonded warehouse for manufacturing. Key growing sectors include bus manufacturing, alcoholic beverages, and medical tools and products.

In the previous fiscal year, the office collected over 33.4 million baht in customs revenue, exceeding its target by 568%. Additionally, it collected approximately 74.7 million baht on behalf of the Revenue Department, the Excise Department, and the Ministry of Interior. The office also reported seizing illegal goods valued at over 101.5 million baht.
