Chongqing hosts Bayu Craftsman Cup vocational skill competitions

Chongqing has concluded two major professional skill competitions under the ‘Bayu Craftsman’ Cup, aimed at enhancing local industry standards and talent development.

The advertising category finals focused on digital advertising and AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) planning, alongside exhibition design. The competition involved 60 finalists who were assessed on creative design, human-machine collaboration using AIGC, and technical execution. The event aligns with Chongqing’s modern manufacturing cluster development and connects competition results directly to national vocational skill certification levels.

Simultaneously, the sixth Civil Affairs Industry Vocational Skills Competition featured 234 participants across five categories: elderly care, orphan and disabled child care, funeral services, mortuary cosmetology, and marriage registration. The competition emphasized practical skills such as cognitive impairment care, rehabilitation, and professional funeral etiquette. The event aims to improve the quality of livelihood services by testing frontline workers on real-world job requirements and professional empathy.
