Chopin Airport luggage wrapping services face criticism over high prices

Travelers at Warsaw Chopin Airport have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the high cost of luggage wrapping services. The service, which provides additional security for suitcases, is priced between 59 PLN and 99 PLN depending on the size of the bag. For example, wrapping a large suitcase typically costs 79 PLN.

There are two service points located in the departures hall, operating seven days a week from 4:00 to 21:00. While the service is quick, passengers have noted that the pricing is significantly higher than similar services found in other regions, such as Asia, leading some to suggest that DIY wrapping with stretch film is a more economical alternative.
