Chopin classical music concerts scheduled in Szafarnia and Kielce

Several outdoor classical music concerts featuring the works of Fryderyk Chopin are scheduled to conclude the summer season in Poland.

In Szafarnia, a free concert will feature pianist Mateusz Dubiel, a winner of the 2019 Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Szafarnia. He will be accompanied by the Toruń Symphony Orchestra Quintet, performing well-known compositions such as the Piano Concerto in E minor, Op. 11, and various Polonaises.

In Kielce, the “Chopin Inspirations” series will hold its final concert at the Italian Garden of the Former Palace of the Krakow Bishops. Pianist Piotr Pawlak will perform Chopin’s second piano concerto, Op. 21, accompanied by Jacek Burzyk on double bass and the Mimesis Quartet. The event will also include operatic and operetta arias performed by singers Ewa Tracz, Yelyzaveta Osipchuk, and Emilia Juras. Admission to the Kielce event is free, though indoor seating is limited in case of inclement weather.
