Michał Kwieciński film 'Chopin' explores life of Polish composer

Polish filmmaker Michał Kwieciński has released a biographical film titled ‘Chopin’, which focuses on the adult years and psychological profile of the renowned composer Frédéric Chopin. Rather than a traditional chronological biography, the film aims to portray the man behind the musical icon, highlighting his charisma, vulnerability, and the health struggles he faced while living in Paris.

Lead actor Eryk Kulm underwent extensive preparation for the role, including practicing piano for six hours daily and studying French, to depict Chopin as a sensitive and often misunderstood figure. The production features a cast including Joséphine de La Baume as George Sand and Lambert Wilson as King Louis Philippe I. The film is scheduled to arrive in Spanish cinemas on October 16 following its screening at the Seville Festival.
