Chopin University of Music Chamber Orchestra to perform in Komono, Japan

The Chopin University of Music Chamber Orchestra from Poland will perform a special concert titled ‘Echoes of Peace 2026 in Komono’ on September 22, 2026, at the Komono Town Citizen Center Hall in Mie Prefecture, Japan.

The program features Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, ‘Eroica’. The performance will be conducted by Rafał Janicki, with Krzysztof Wierzbiński performing as the piano soloist.

In addition to the main concert, the event includes various related activities such as piano lessons by the Vice Rector of the Chopin University of Music, rehearsal viewings, and instrument lessons. The event is supported by several organizations, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Japan.
