Chopova Lowena opens first permanent retail store in East London

Fashion label Chopova Lowena has opened its first permanent retail store in East London. Located on Teesdale Street near Bethnal Green and Hoxton, the space serves as a vertical headquarters, housing the brand's design studios both above and below the ground-floor shop.

Designers Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons envisioned the space as a ‘clubhouse’ to provide an immersive community experience for customers. The interior features custom-built elements, including Polish pine wardrobes, a 200-kilogram wrought-iron display table, and a cabinet bed that functions as the store's till. Much of the construction was completed by designer and fabricator David Pringle to maintain the brand's DIY aesthetic.
