Choral music performances held in Germany and Italy

Various choral musical events have taken place in Germany and Italy. In Waldsassen, Germany, the Basilica Waldsassen Choir, the Rastislav Blansko Choir, and the Czech Virtuosi Orchestra performed works by Antonín Dvořák. The program included the Mass in D op. 86 and selections from the “Biblical Songs” op. 99.

In Bolzano, Italy, the South Tyrolean Choral Association concluded its “Pop Choir for All” workshop at the Walther von der Vogelweide Gymnasium. Led by music educator Markus Detterbeck, more than 60 participants performed a variety of pop, rock, jazz, and gospel songs, including pieces such as “Vincent” and “Wellerman,” in a collaborative concert.
