Choral singing projects announced for 2027 in Germany

Various choral singing opportunities have been announced for 2027 in Germany.

The Roman Catholic Church Choir in Möhlin is inviting singers to participate in a special Beethoven project scheduled for November 13 and 14, 2027. The program will feature Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, Op. 86, alongside the Fantasy Op. 80 for piano, choir, and orchestra, featuring soloist Ludovic van Hellemont. Rehearsals are set to begin in late 2026.

Additionally, the 2027 Evangelical Church Day in Düsseldorf will host the ‘Night of 1,000 Voices’ on May 8. Led by musicians Timo Böcking and Martin Buchholz, the event seeks individual singers and choirs to perform a mix of church songs and contemporary pop hits. Participation is free, though attendees must purchase a Church Day ticket.
