Chorão legacy celebrated through new biopic and immersive exhibition

Actor José Loreto attended the Gramado Film Festival to promote the biopic ‘Chorão: Só os Loucos Sabem’, which depicts the life of the late Charlie Brown Jr. vocalist, Chorão. During the event, Loreto was honored on the festival’s Walk of Fame. The actor described an intense preparation process for the role, which included wearing loose clothing, practicing skateboarding, and immersing himself in the musician’s lifestyle.

In addition to the film, an immersive exhibition titled ‘Chorão House’ is being held at Praiamar Shopping in Santos from August 21 to September 27. The exhibit features original items from the artist’s life, including clothing, musical instruments, and song manuscripts. The exhibition is organized into four thematic areas: Skate, Music, Santos, and Poetry, and includes an artistic replica of the apartment where the musician lived.
