Chorzów track meet sees multiple new meeting records

The 72nd Janusz Kusociński Memorial held in Chorzów saw several athletes set new meeting records. Romell Glave clocked 9.97 seconds in the men's 100m, equaling his personal best and breaking the previous meeting record of 10.00.

In the men's 800m, Maciej Wyderka set a new meeting record with a time of 1:43.65. This performance marks his personal best and is the third-fastest time in Polish history, trailing the national record by only 0.43 seconds.

In the men's pole vault, Christopher Nilsen achieved a seasonal best and a new meeting record with a height of 5.93 meters. Other notable results included Shusei Nomoto winning the 110m hurdles in 13.30 and Paris Peoples winning the women's 400m in 51.30.
