Chow Yun-fat Cuts Asking Price of Peak Mansion to HK$160 Million
Hong Kong film star Chow Yun‑fat has slashed the asking price of his luxury detached villa at The Peak to HK$160 million, a 27 percent reduction from the original HK$220 million listing. The property, known as Sunshine Villa on Mount Kellett Road, has been on the market for nearly four years after first being listed in October 2022.
The 2,547‑square‑foot residence includes a 2,000‑square‑foot private garden, a 700‑square‑foot rooftop terrace and panoramic sea views. Chow purchased the villa in September 2010 for HK$128 million and fully renovated it, but it has never been lived in or rented out. Access to view the home remains tightly controlled, with prospective buyers subject to strict screening.
Earlier in April, Chow sold a three‑bedroom flat at Corona Tower in Mid‑Levels for HK$7.5 million, booking a profit of HK$3.58 million. His broader property portfolio is estimated at over HK$1 billion across multiple luxury holdings in Hong Kong.
