CHP official Nilay Kökkılınç addresses İzmir market vendor demands

Nilay Kökkılınç, President of the Republican People's Party (CHP) İzmir Provincial Women's Branch, visited a producer market in Kültürpark, Konak, to discuss the needs of citizens, vendors, and producers.

Citizens reported difficulties accessing markets and requested more local market areas within walking distance. Additional requests included the installation of toilets, children's play areas, and seating for the elderly near market sites, as well as stricter price inspections by authorities.

Market vendors and producers highlighted the need for lower stall fees, an increase in the number of market locations, and designated parking areas for transport vehicles. Furthermore, Kökkılınç addressed the needs of women's cooperatives, noting their request for free stall access across all markets. She emphasized that both central and local governments should provide special support to these cooperatives to foster local development and economic solidarity.
