CHP prepares for organizational restructuring and congress announcements

The Republican People's Party (CHP) is preparing for significant organizational changes and upcoming events centered around its founding anniversary on September 9. Party leadership and regional officials in Trabzon have indicated that members will gather in Ankara to mark the occasion, with expectations that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will make important announcements regarding the party's congress calendar.

Following allegations of corruption and irregularities during the 2023 convention, the party is undergoing a restructuring process. This includes the renewal of local and district organizations and the re-establishment of delegate structures to address previous legal challenges and claims of vote-buying. CHP Trabzon Provincial Chairman Mustafa Gültekin stated that the party is focusing on building qualified cadres and developing policies to address national issues after clarifying its leadership structures.
