CH&PA begins phased relocation to new headquarters
The Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) has begun a phased relocation to its new headquarters located at Plantation Houston. This move is intended to consolidate operations and enhance service delivery for the Ministry of Housing.
Several key departments are already operational at the new site, including the Planning Department, which manages planning permission applications, and the Community Development Department, which handles relocation, regularisation, and community services. Additionally, services previously hosted at the Camp Street Annex have been moved to the new facility.
Citizens seeking to collect Certificates of Title or Transports, or those with inquiries regarding informal settlements and special projects, are directed to the Houston office. Housing Minister Collin Croal, Minister Vanessa Benn, Permanent Secretary Bishram Kuppen, and CH&PA CEO Dr. Martin Pertab visited the site to oversee the transition and ensure minimal service disruption. Further departments are expected to relocate to the headquarters in the coming days.
