Chris Christie criticizes Trump and GOP leadership

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has accused Donald Trump of establishing a “rotten moral core” within the Republican Party. Speaking on ABC’s “This Week,” Christie argued that the current state of the GOP reflects a deeper deterioration of moral standards.

Christie specifically targeted JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy, describing them as prominent “Trump wannabes.” He claimed these figures attempt to emulate Trump’s political style and moral bankruptcy without possessing his specific charm or charisma. Christie warned that if the party continues on this trajectory, it risks a future defined by leaders who lack both moral clarity and political appeal.
