Chris Evans discusses shifting priorities after becoming a father

Actor Chris Evans has stated that becoming a father has shifted his professional priorities. Speaking at a recent Fan Expo, the 45-year-old actor noted that having a daughter means he now requires a “really good reason” to commit to work.

Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Alma Grace, in late 2025. The couple, who married in September 2023 through ceremonies in both the United States and Portugal, reportedly prefer a private life in Massachusetts away from the public spotlight.
