Chris Evans reveals details behind original Avengers cast tattoos

Chris Evans has shared details regarding the matching tattoos shared by several original Avengers cast members. The idea for the tattoos was originally conceived by Scarlett Johansson.

The minimalist design, created by tattoo artist Josh Lord, features the Avengers logo alongside the number "6" to represent the original superhero team. While five of the core cast members—Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner—received the ink, Mark Ruffalo did not participate.

Evans noted during a Fan Expo panel that the group could not convince Ruffalo to join them. Ruffalo later explained on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that his refusal was due to a fear of needles, jokingly adding that he was being "punk rock" by opting out.
