Chris Evert battles ovarian cancer for third time

Tennis legend Chris Evert is currently battling ovarian cancer for the third time. Due to her health, the 71-year-old will be absent from the upcoming US Open in New York.

Evert, a record six-time winner at the tournament, holds an 18-time Grand Slam singles title record and spent 260 weeks ranked number one in the world. Since retiring in 1989, she has remained a fixture at the event, serving as a commentator for ESPN since 2011.
