Chris Fagan joins Carlton as director of coaching

Chris Fagan, the triple premiership coach who recently led the Brisbane Lions to a third consecutive title, is joining the Carlton Football Club as director of coaching. The 65-year-old will relocate to Melbourne to take on the role.

Fagan will work closely with Carlton head coach Josh Fraser, who was recently appointed to the position following a successful stint as interim coach. Fagan stated that he is passionate about supporting people to reach their full potential and looks forward to impacting the next phase of his career in a full-time capacity.

Carlton general manager of football Chris Davis described the appointment as a significant acquisition, noting Fagan’s wealth of experience and his proven ability to build high-performing environments.
