Chris Hansen continues sting operations in Louisiana

Investigative journalist Chris Hansen continues his sting operations in Louisiana, specifically within Livingston Parish. His current program, ‘Takedown with Chris Hansen’, involves direct collaboration with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and its Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

In a recent episode, Hansen confronted an individual identified as an Air Force mechanic during a sting operation. This partnership between Hansen and local law enforcement has led to significant results, including 11 arrests during a three-day operation in February 2025. The Livingston Parish ICAC Task Force reported that its investigations in 2024 reached 24 states and five countries, identifying over 45 previously unknown victims.
