Chris Hansen's Roblox account banned during live CrimeCon panel

Chris Hansen, known for hosting ‘To Catch a Predator’, had his Roblox account banned during a live demonstration at the CrimeCon panel in Las Vegas on May 29.

While Hansen and YouTuber Michael ‘Schlep’ were demonstrating how strangers can approach users on the platform, Hansen’s account was disconnected. A moderation notice appeared stating the account was moderated for violating terms of use regarding ‘inappropriate content/behavior’. The incident occurred as a user attempted to move a conversation from Roblox to Snapchat. Schlep suggested that Roblox employees may have been monitoring the live demonstration.
