Chris Jericho and Nick Wayne set for AEW Grand Slam France rematch

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has officially confirmed a rematch between veteran Chris Jericho and Nick Wayne for the upcoming AEW Grand Slam France event in Paris.

The announcement follows a heated confrontation on the September 23 episode of AEW Collision. The rivalry intensified after Jericho defeated Wayne on Dynamite, which was followed by a post-match attack by Wayne using a chair.

During their face-to-face exchange, Jericho reflected on the similarities in their career paths, noting that both began wrestling as teenagers and competed in Japan. Jericho also shared a personal anecdote regarding advice from the late Nick Bockwinkel, warning Wayne about the dangers of youthful arrogance. Wayne rejected the veteran's sentiment, asserting his own growth and readiness to settle the feud in Paris.
