American guard Chris Jones has expressed his ambitions to lead Crvena Zvezda during the upcoming basketball season. In an interview with Meridian Sport, the 33-year-old emphasized his desire to act as a playmaker and ensure the team functions effectively.

Jones noted that he is currently in a process of getting to know his new teammates and finding his competitive rhythm following the summer period. He highlighted the transition from summer training to high-intensity five-on-five play, noting the importance of the preseason for this adjustment.

Additionally, Jones spoke positively about reuniting with Semih Öztjemile, with whom he previously played at Valencia. He stated that the team is moving in the right direction and expressed enthusiasm regarding the warm welcome received from his new teammates.
