Chris Marshall receives Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award honorable mention

Arkansas wide receiver Chris Marshall has received an honorable mention for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award following a standout performance against Tulsa. During the Razorbacks’ 34-6 victory, Marshall recorded career highs with nine receptions for 195 yards.

Marshall currently leads the SEC in receptions (28), receiving yards (473), receptions per game (7.0), and receiving yards per game (118.3). His 473 yards through four games represent the highest total for an Arkansas pass catcher since 2011.

As the Razorbacks prepare for an upcoming matchup against Texas A&M, coaching staff noted that opponents will likely adjust their defensive coverages to account for Marshall’s production. Marshall, a former Texas A&M player, enters the game as a primary offensive threat for Arkansas.
