Chris Matthews to visit South Africa for Red Bull Half Court

Basketball shooting coach Chris Matthews, widely known as ‘Lethal Shooter’, is visiting South Africa for the first time to participate in the Red Bull Half Court tournament.

Matthews will host an exclusive masterclass at the University of the Witwatersrand on 21 August, providing aspiring players and tournament finalists the opportunity to learn his specialized shooting techniques. Following the masterclass, he will attend the Red Bull Half Court National Final on 22 August at the Klipspruit Sports Centre in Soweto.

The tournament features both men’s and women’s divisions, with top teams competing for the national title and a chance to represent South Africa in the international 3-on-3 streetball competition.
