Chris McKenna exits General Hospital following Jack Brennan's death
Actor Chris McKenna has officially exited the ABC soap opera ‘General Hospital’ following the death of his character, WSB chief Jack Brennan. The character’s demise occurred after he was drugged with a sleeping pill by Ava Jerome, leading to his drowning in the Metro Court pool.
In the storyline, characters Drew Cain and Ava Jerome discovered the body and subsequently buried it in an unmarked grave in a nature preserve to avoid suspicion. Other characters, including Danny Morgan and Charlotte Cassadine, also witnessed the body but fled the scene without reporting it to the police.
McKenna expressed mixed emotions regarding the exit, describing it as ‘disappointing’ due to the nature of the character’s end, but ultimately calling the experience a ‘gift.’ He noted that while he is mourning the character, he is grateful for the opportunity to connect with a new audience and has several upcoming projects in development.
