Chris McKenna undergoes emergency jawbone surgery

Actor Chris McKenna, known for his role as Jack Brennan on ‘General Hospital’, is undergoing emergency surgery after a routine dental procedure revealed a serious health issue.

McKenna reported that while seeking repairs for a broken crown last month, dentists discovered an unusual spot on an X-ray. Further examination revealed a cyst that had significantly damaged his jawbone. Due to the extent of the damage, the procedure will require both the removal of the cyst and a bone graft to repair the bone.

McKenna shared the news on social media, noting that while the surgery will be painful, he is relieved the issue was caught. He remarked, ‘Good thing I broke that tooth! This is gonna hurt but lucky we caught it.’
