Chris Pappas campaigns for New Hampshire Senate seat

Democratic Representative Chris Pappas is campaigning for a U.S. Senate seat in New Hampshire, facing former Republican Senator John Sununu. With 23 days remaining until Election Day, Pappas emphasized that his campaign is “taking nothing for granted” due to the state’s status as a purple state and the historical closeness of its Senate contests.

Pappas stated his strategy focuses on engaging independent and swing voters, energizing the Democratic base, and reaching out to Republicans. He highlighted the need to address economic challenges and rising costs, noting that the race is critical for determining Senate control. The contest follows the announcement by Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen that she would not seek reelection.
