Chris Pine offered role as Batman in animated film ‘Dynamic Duo’

Actor Chris Pine has reportedly been offered the role of voicing Batman in the upcoming animated film ‘Dynamic Duo’. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and DC Studios, the project is set to be a standalone ‘Elseworlds’ production, meaning it will exist outside the central continuity of James Gunn’s DC Universe (DCU).

Unlike the main DCU, which typically aims for consistency between animated and live-action performers, this film will focus on the early lives of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd as they navigate Gotham’s criminal underworld. While Bruce Wayne will not be the primary protagonist, his presence will be a defining element of the story.

If Pine accepts, it would mark his return to the DC franchise following his role as Steve Trevor in the ‘Wonder Woman’ films. The production is expected to utilize a mix of stop-motion, CGI, and live-action techniques.
