Chris Rabb discusses campaign and economic views on Face the Nation

Pennsylvania State Representative Chris Rabb, the Democratic nominee for the state’s third congressional district, discussed his campaign platform and political identity during an interview on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’.

Addressing his membership in the Democratic Socialists of America, Rabb argued that the United States is ‘not a purely capitalistic society’. He pointed to existing social programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and public education as evidence of a mixed system, noting that ‘pure capitalism has never worked’.

Rabb stated his campaign focuses on fighting for working people, increasing wages, and treating healthcare as a human right. He emphasized a strategy of engaging disaffected voters within Democratic-leaning districts to secure a party majority.
