Comedian Chris Rock stated in an interview with Variety that while he is not a fan of Donald Trump, the former president is correct in his criticism of the news media being ‘fake’. Rock, who was among the few celebrities to predict Trump’s 2016 election victory, noted that Trump’s accuracy on this specific issue ‘almost clears them of all their other sins’.

During the discussion regarding his upcoming film, ‘Misty Green’, Rock also touched upon his views of the entertainment industry. Curtis Houck of the Media Research Center commented on Rock’s remarks, suggesting that the recognition of media bias and press ineptitude is a significant part of Trump’s legacy.
