Chrisean Rock Murder Investigation Remains Open as Ex‑Boyfriend Ronny Doe’s Killing Stays Unsolved

Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann, 24, was shot and killed on the evening of February 3, 2025, in Severn, Maryland. Police responding to reports of gunfire found him outside a home on Severn Tree Boulevard; he was taken to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he later died.

Anne Arundel County Police have classified the homicide as a targeted incident and keep the case open and active, but no suspects have been publicly identified after more than 18 months. The department declined to provide further details.

Reality‑TV star and musician Chrisean Rock publicly denied any involvement during a livestream, stating the investigation “has nothing to do with me.” The case is entangled with a prior paternity dispute involving rapper Blueface, who has alternately claimed and denied that Cann was the father of Rock’s son. Blueface posted a deleted statement after Cann’s death, expressing uncertainty about the child’s parentage.

The investigation continues without new leads, and authorities say they are still pursuing information to solve the murder.
