Christian Ødegård appointed manager for new Drammen car center

Bertel O. Steen and Wallenius Wilhelmsen have appointed Christian Ødegård as the general manager for a new car preparation center located at the port of Drammen. The facility is being developed through an existing joint venture and is designed to centralize activities related to the receipt, preparation, and distribution of vehicles.

The project is currently moving from the planning and construction phase into an organizational phase, focusing on establishing robust work processes and efficient operations. The facility is expected to be completed toward the end of 2027. Ødegård brings extensive leadership experience from the Norwegian industrial sector, having previously held roles at companies such as TINE and Ringnes.
