Christian Democratic Party faces internal divisions in legislature

The Christian Democratic Party (PDC) is experiencing internal divisions within the Legislative Assembly, prompting efforts to establish a unified parliamentary line. Deputy Vladimir Díaz acknowledged the internal friction, noting that some legislators are aligning with Vice President Edmand Lara while others remain separate.

Díaz stated that the party is seeking adjustments to ensure all parliamentarians can provide direct support and work toward consensus. He emphasized the need to prioritize legislative projects and coordinate with social organizations to address national issues, suggesting that political campaign tensions should be set aside to improve quality of life through legislative agreements.
