Christian Estrosi involved in collision with professional cyclist

Christian Estrosi, the former mayor of Nice, was involved in a road accident in Megève, Haute-Savoie, on Friday, August 21. The collision occurred on the Mont-d’Arbois road when professional cyclist Jérémy Lecroq, a member of the Saint-Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93 team, struck Estrosi’s vehicle while descending the road.

Preliminary reports and police sources indicate that Estrosi is not at fault for the accident. While Estrosi was uninjured, Lecroq sustained serious injuries, including a fractured scapula and a dislocated shoulder. The severity of these injuries may impact the 31-year-old cyclist's remainder of the competitive season.
