Montréal minor arrested for allegedly using AI to plan school attack FAST-MOVING

A minor has been arrested in Montréal on terrorism-related allegations following an investigation by the RCMP’s Integrated National Security Enforcement Team. The investigation was initiated several weeks ago after intelligence was shared by the FBI.

The suspect, described as a minor with ties to neo-Nazi movements, allegedly used artificial intelligence to plan an attack on a school in Montréal. Authorities also report that the individual allegedly posted threatening messages on Telegram targeting various groups, specifically mentioning Muslim, Haitian, and LGBT+ communities.

The RCMP has sought a peace bond under the Criminal Code to allow for monitoring and de-escalation interventions. The investigation remains ongoing, and further charges may be laid at a later date.
