Christian Kuzior appointed as pastoral assistant in Münster Diocese
Christian Kuzior, a 47-year-old pastoral assistant, has been serving as a hospital chaplain in Werne and Lünen since March 1. His primary focus is at the St. Christophorus Hospital in Werne.
Kuzior’s career path to chaplaincy was non-linear. After growing up in Lübeck, he trained as a banker and later as an organ builder in Münster-Nienberge. He subsequently studied theology in Münster and Frankfurt. His previous professional experiences include working as a funeral director, a grief speaker, and a prison chaplain at the Neumünster correctional facility.
On Sunday, September 27, Bishop Heiner Wilmer will officially commission Kuzior, along with 15 other individuals, for their service as pastoral assistants within the Diocese of Münster.
