Christian McCaffrey nears NFL record amid personal milestones

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is approaching an NFL milestone. He is currently tied with Marshall Faulk at 36 career touchdown receptions; one more touchdown catch would set a new league record for running backs.

McCaffrey has also become the third player in NFL history to score 50 or more touchdowns for multiple franchises, joining Hall-of-Famers Marshall Faulk and Randy Moss. He recently reached 50 touchdowns in a 49ers uniform, having previously scored 50 for the Carolina Panthers.

In personal news, McCaffrey’s wife, Olivia Culpo, is pregnant with their second child. While no due date has been disclosed, her recent social media activity and public appearances suggest the baby could arrive soon, which may impact McCaffrey’s availability for upcoming games.
