Christian McCaffrey suffers thigh injury during 49ers game

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey suffered a thigh injury during the first half of a game against the Atlanta Falcons. McCaffrey, who had recorded 74 yards and a touchdown early in the contest, was seen receiving treatment in a medical tent before heading to the locker room during the second quarter.

The injury leaves the 49ers' offense depleted, as the team is already playing without several key playmakers including Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, and their top four receivers. Despite the setback, McCaffrey has been a significant contributor this season, totaling 350 rushing yards and seven touchdowns through six games.

McCaffrey has a history of injuries, having previously missed time due to Achilles tendonitis and a PCL sprain. The 49ers currently hold a 6-0 record in the NFC West.
