Christian Nègre investigated for allegedly drugging women during job interviews

A formal investigation has been launched against former French official Christian Nègre following allegations from nearly 250 women. The women claim that between 2009 and 2018, Nègre drugged them during job interviews, leading to humiliating situations involving an uncontrollable need to urinate.

One victim, Anaïs de Vos, testified that during a 2011 interview at the French Ministry of Culture, Nègre provided her with coffee that had an unusual taste. Shortly after, she experienced extreme physical weakness and an urgent, uncontrollable need to urinate while walking through Paris. She reported that Nègre appeared to observe her distress with interest.

Police suspect the use of diuretics to induce these effects. Investigators discovered an Excel spreadsheet on Nègre’s computer titled ‘Experiment P,’ which allegedly contained a list of victims. The formal investigation includes suspicions of drugging, invasion of privacy, and sexual assault.
